Innovative Planning For 2019

Have you drafted a plan for 2019?  If not, well now is the time to do it.  You must not wait until 2019 comes before you start your planning.  Do it as early as now and have a timeline so you’ll be done by the end of the year.  Starting early on will give you an opportunity to start the year not cramming and just putting into actions the plans you have made.

Who Should You Consider When Planning

Your employees and your customers are part of your business.  It is just right that you have them in mind when drafting your plan.

Employees.  Sit down with your trusted employees and let them have a say.  You may never know what fresh idea will come out.

Customers.  Conducting a survey from your customer could also help you out on how to potentially improve your services and products.  Your customers are the ones spending their money on your business.  Making them feel important and valued through your products and services is a tactic to draw in a loyal crowd of customers.

Business coach.  In planning, seek the advice of someone that is not inside your monthly payroll.  Let them have an overview of your plan and see what they have to say.  It could be your mentor, your CPA, lawyer, or a consultant.  I am not saying you have to follow their advice.   Listen to what they have to say as you finalize your plan.  From their point of view, you may pick out something that is out of the extraordinary.

What To Include In Your 2019 Plan

In making your plan for the next year, you have to consider what you have gone through this 2018.

Address Issues

Are there problems your company encountered?

Are there products that don’t sell because of glitches?

Did you receive complaints from customer(s), suppliers, or employees?

Or whatever it is that your company encountered in the past year(s).  Do not turn a blind eye on these problems.   Finding a solution can leave satisfied customers, give you a boost in sales,  have productive and responsible employees.   You plan to bring in changes that will push your business forward up.

Set Goals

You should also think of the things you wanted to accomplish in the coming year.  Look at your sales.   Think about your profit.  Is there a possibility of expanding?  Taking the business into the next level is taking into consideration your company’s future.  This could be in terms of sales, location, market share, or developing and bringing in new product or services in the market.

Thinking about these things may take time.   Invest a part of your day, every day starting now, in digging into this.  Other (less important) matters can wait.   It’s crucial not leave any stone unturned.

Advantage Of Being Innovative

Many companies have met their end and some end up becoming zombies because they were not able to go with the flow of the competition.

Discovering new ways on how you will improve your products or services, enhancing procedure to yield more quality products, developing new marketing strategies, attracting steady customers are keys to improving your ability to compete in the market.

Making your business unique give your company that edge that will set you apart from the rest.  Your being ahead and the uniqueness you’ll bring in to your market is the driving force that will make you stand out and survive.

Outwit your competitors, make your customer’s need your priority, trust and recognize your employees, build a relationship with your suppliers, listen to people around your business, these are your secret weapons.

Many businesses of long ago meet their final days because they fail to go with the flow of innovation.   Alibaba, Amazon, and the new breathe of key players in the market were able to deliver well where their competitors fail.

Make it your goal to achieve and exceed your plans and your customer’s expectation.
